This weekend kicks off the official start to fall. The city is jam-packed with events going on throughout the weekend—celebrating neighborhoods like Ohio City and the creativity that arts and technology brings to the area at the Ingenuity Festival.

Ohio City Street Festival

It's a celebration of all things Ohio City—from art performances and outside musical entertainment to a plethora of food and activities. W.25th Street will be closed off so the public can walk around to see the food, drink and retail vendors that represent the neighborhood.

When: Sunday, September 24 from noon to 8 p.m.

The Greater Cleveland Urban Festival

From short to longer films, there is something for everyone at this 9-day film festival celebrating urban films. This year's theme is "Hear Me Out" highlighting comedies and dramas showing at venues across the city.

When:  Thursday, September 21 to  Friday, September 29

The Taste of Shaker Square

The 2nd annual Taste of Shaker highlights restaurants at Shaker Square and benefits The Greater Cleveland Urban Festival. Award-winning restaurants like Edwins, Zanzibar, Yours Truly and Sasa will be giving samples from their signature menus.

When: Saturday, September 23 from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Alien Adventure Corn Maze

There's nothing like to kick off the first fall weekend than with a corn maze. Weaving in and out of intersections,  you will have to keep an eye for aliens on the loose in this 3-acre maze.

When: From Tuesday from Sunday until October 15  11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Come #GiveAFetch and WIN

Calling all dog lovers to Tremont and kick off National Dog Week with goodies for both dogs and people. Local animal shelters will be there with animals for adoption. Bring your pup for a free drawing caricature drawing.

IngenuityFest 2017

Ingenuity Fest is back on with art installations, maker exhibits and dance performers. This year it's igniting technology and creativity at the  Hamilton Collaborative, which formerly housed the Osborn Manufacturing Company. Local food vendors and artisans will be

90's Rooftop Party at Velvet Dog

Scarecrow Picnic at The Cleveland Botanical Gardens
