The FBI is asking for the public's help in identifying a John Doe (pictured above) who may have information on the identity of a child involved in a sex exploitation case.
A video depicted the unidentified man, John Doe, 40, shown with a child. It was first noticed by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in October 2017, which led authorities to believe the video was produced prior.
John Doe is likely between 30 and 40 years old. He appears to be heavyset with dark colored hair. He could be heard speaking English in the video, according to the FBI.
So far, the FBI has had success in 26 out of 40 cases involving John/Jane Doe child exploitation cases when the information is released to the public.
Authorities do not have any further information on the whereabouts of this John Doe.
