Cleveland Police are searching for a female robber who first asks for directions, then attempts to steal the purses and wallets of her victims.

In two cases, police say the robber dragged the victims with her car as she tried to make her getaway.

Police report a 70-year-old veteran was robbed in the parking lot of Steelyard Commons on September 15, the robber dragging the victim some 30 feet, breaking the victims hip and leg in three places.

Just a half hour earlier, police said Christine Farrell was victimized by the same suspect in the parking lot of the Walgreen's on State Road in Cleveland.

The suspect tried to take Farrell's Louis Vuitton purse, Farrell's arm was still caught in the purse straps.

Farrell was dragged by the suspect's vehicle more than 20 feet.

Police have a basic description of the suspect, who described as a white female, 30 to 40 years old, sandy blonde hair, driving a maroon 4 door sedan, with a large dent below the driver's side door.
