CLEVELAND — A 40-year-old man died in a crash in Cleveland Tuesday morning after he suffered a medical emergency, Cleveland police confirmed.
Cleveland police responded to the 4300 block Martin Luther King Drive at about 9 a.m. for a vehicle into a house.
Prior to the arrival of officers, Cleveland fire extricated the driver from the vehicle. Preliminary information indicates the driver experienced a medical emergency, which caused him to veer off the road and crash into a house.
The driver was taken to Marymount Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Cuyahoga Medical Examiner's Office identified the driver as Melvin David Goodman, 40, of Cleveland.
No further details about the crash or the victim have been released at this time.
