Cleveland police are investigating the shooting of a truck driver after someone attempted to rob him Thursday morning around 4:13 a.m.
A 66-year-old truck driver was inside his truck at E. 79th and Finney Avenue when one man broke the passenger window and tried to rob him.
The man shot the driver from the passenger's side, according to police.
The driver was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in critical condition, according to EMS.
This is the second shooting of a truck driver in less than a week. A truck driver was shot on Wednesday near Perkins Avenue.
