CLEVELAND — Firefighters from the Cleveland Fire Department responded to a massive fire on the city's East Side.
Firefighters responded to the area of Woodhill Road and Stoughton Avenue for a building engulfed in flames.
Nearby power lines made it difficult for firefighters to get a ladder up to fight the flames.
Cleveland fire officials said the fire started in a vacant building and is exposed to other buildings.
There were 40 firefighters and 11 companies who responded to the structure fire. One business was protected from the fire, officials said.
Here's a chronological cut of the Woodhill fire. I arrived just minutes after the first trucks. Nice work by all @ClevelandFire to get lines in the back and trucks setup around a ton of power lines. This scene will remain for hours but it's contained. Vacant. No injuries. pic.twitter.com/oO59j3qnnb
