Hugs abound as loved ones consoled each other where a 29-year-old man was gunned down Friday night.

The deadly shooting happened on Idarose Avenue near East 141.

Anthony Cooper Sr. said his son, Anthony Cooper Jr., was shot and killed.

Police say Cooper and another man were standing outside when the shooting happened, and the gunman took off running.

Cooper's dad said his son leaves behind a boy and three girls, all under the age of ten.

Cooper was found on the sidewalk in front of his grandparent's house.

"I'm hurt. I'm angry I just want to ask whoever did it why?. Why does it have to come to this? It's senseless. I have to bury my son. His kids will grow up without their father. It's crazy, it's crazy," Cooper said.

No arrests have been made.
