CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — A garbage truck operator took swift action after his garbage load was on fire Monday morning.
Police responded to 2450 Overlook Road in Cleveland Heights.

The operator told News 5 that when he noticed his garbage on fire, he quickly dumped the load on to the street.

Cleveland Heights fire also responded to the scene to douse the burning garbage and help clear the debris from the road.
No further information was released at the scene.
