Rocky River fire and police crews responded to a deadly residential fire Thursday morning.
The fire happened at a condo on the 22800 block of Lake Road in Rocky River.
Lakewood Fire Chief Scott Gilman confirms an 87-year-old woman has died in the fire.
At least one person is being transported to a nearby hospital with minor injuries, according to fire officials.
The fire climbed through the walls and opened a hole in the roof, according to Gilman.
