Armed robber spends night inside Cleveland Family Dollar

A man who robbed a Family Dollar manager at gunpoint Thursday in Cleveland hid in the store overnight before committing the crime, according to Cleveland Police.

The robbery happened at the Family Dollar located at 12107 St. Clair Avenue around 7:45 a.m. as the manager was preparing to open for the day.

Video showed a masked man with a gun sneaking up on the woman at the front counter. The robbery was not visible on camera.

Another video showed that same man walking into the store shortly before closing the night before. Police said that man hid out in the store overnight.

Police said the suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
