Mantua police chief said the incidents that occurred during a football practice on July 28 at Crestwood High School appear to be 'school-related.'
Following the suspension of all Crestwood High School football operations, effective immediately, the Mantua Police Department said they have conducted all interviews and investigations surrounding an incident at football practice that was reported to school administrators, who then, contacted the school resource officer.

The police chief said unless more details emerge, all interviews have been completed in the investigation.
All information will be forwarded to the Portage County Prosecutor's Office for review of possible criminal charges.
The football team's second game on October 6 is canceled.
