Troopers investigating deadly car fire on I-71 in Richland County

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a car fire that left a 19-year-old man from Columbus dead.

It happened on Saturday around 4:20 p.m. on Interstate 71 near milepost 158 in southern Richland County.

According to troopers, two men were driving in a 2001 Ford Mustang when it caught fire. The vehicle then pulled to the shoulder striking the guard rail and became fully engulfed. 

Gnim Talle was unable to escape and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Kyshawn Ramsey, 20, was not injured. 

The northbound lanes of Interstate 71 were partially closed for two hours as a result of the crash.
