The body of a missing Akron man was found Saturday morning in Pike Township.
According to Stark County Sheriff’s department, deputies found the body of 24-year-old Victor Prieto-Gomez around 10:30 a.m. in a small creek near Dueber Avenue Southwest and Battlesburg Street Southwest.
Prieto-Gomez had been reported as a missing person to Akron Police Department on March 14th.
The cause of death for Prieto-Gomez has not yet been determined. Stark County Sheriff’s office will be investigating the circumstances related to his death.
