CLEVELAND — News 5 anchor Danita Harris help girls shine with new program.
Harris created a program called Girlz S.H.I.N.E., which helps students at Dike School of the Arts learn life skills and position them for success.
She has empowered young girls through this program and taught them that their dreams could come true.
Twice a week from October to May, Harris spends time with more than 100 fourth to eighth grade girls.
Next year, the program will expand to Wilbur Wright Elementary School.
