CLEVELAND — A Cleveland mother of three who was once homeless and living in her car is now a first-time homeowner.
The home was donated by the Cuyahoga Land Bank.
Then, local volunteers, Cleveland police officers from the First District and others chipped in to renovate the blighted home for Star and her children.
Star and her children moved in exactly one year ago Monday.
After financial counseling with Laura’s Home and keeping a full-time job, the City Mission transferred the title to her.
