WATCH: Air Force planes to fly over Northeast Ohio to salute frontline workers

LAKE COUNTY, Ohio — If you see military planes flying on Monday, don't freak out.

The 910th Airlift Wing is launching ‘Hercs Over America’ on Monday as a way for the Air Force Reserve to salute the thousands of healthcare workers, essential employees and other first responders on the front line of the battle against COVID-19.

Watch the planes fly over healthcare facilities.

They will be flying over Ashtabula and Lake counties on their way to the Cleveland area to salute workers at these health care facilities: The Cleveland VA Hospital; University Hospital Ahuja Medical Center – Beachwood; University Hospital Cleveland Main Campus; Cleveland Clinic Children’s Hospital; Cleveland Clinic Main Campus; Metro Health – Cleveland and Fairview Hospital – Cleveland.

They will then fly to Akron Children’s Hospital in Akron and Mercy Medical Center in Canton.

Depending on where you live, you could seem them as early as 10:30 a.m.
