CLEVELAND — It doesn’t get more Cleveland than shirtless J.R. Smith, and during the MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game, the city was taken back to 2016.
The 2019 MLB All-Star Celebrity Softball Game featured a mix of actors, musicians and athletes from Cleveland and all over the world pitted against each other in the “Cleveland vs. The World” game.
Smith, who was competing on Team Cleveland in the Celebrity All-Star game, took his jersey off before stepping up to the plate.

The moment stirred up memories of 2016 when Smith took his shirt of in celebration of the Cavaliers winning the 2016 NBA Championship and didn’t put it back on for days.
Smith received a standing ovation during his at-bat, and the crowd watching went wild when he took his shirt off.
The Indians posted a video to twitter of J.R. celebrating on the field, sans shirt.
