Most Memorable Stories: There are so many! My last weeks in Dayton I spent covering the aftermath of a massive tornado outbreak. The twisters caused more than $1 billion in damage. Just over a month later, I was in my new role in Columbus when I returned to Dayton the morning after a gunman killed 9 people and wounded 17 others in a popular entertainment district. Then we all know how 2020 shaped out. I was in Ohio’s capital city to witness historic pandemic health orders, shutdowns, social justice movements and the amazing resiliency of so many people.
