News 5's Jon Doss is inspiring runners at Camp Cheerful this weekend.
Doss is emceeing the Achievement Centers for Children A Most Excellent Race on Sunday, June 24 at Beaumont School, located at 3301 North Park Blvd in Cleveland Heights.
The race registration begins at 7:30 a.m. followed by an 8:30 a.m. by the Camp Cheerful Classic, a 100-yard dash for the children and adults attending Camp Cheerful.
The 10K and 5K runs and the 5K and 1-Mile Walk are at 9:00 a.m.
The event will feature family-friendly activities in the morning including a bounce house, face painting and art activities.
