It's National Roller Coaster Day and Cedar Point announced a new ride debuting next year.

Cedar Point is revamping the former Mean Streak ride and it's hinted that the new ride would go in the park's FrontierTown.

Steel Vengeance, the tallest, fastest and longest hybrid roller coaster in the world, will stand at more than 200 feet tall.

The design combines a steel running track on a massive wooden structure.

Riders will board one of three trains and climb nearly 205 feet above FrontierTown. Once they reached the lift hill, they will be staring straight down a 90-degree initial drop and a 200-foot fall to earth.

The Steel Vengeance will also introduce the 'Twisted Snake Dive', causing the coaster train to enter a half-barrel roll while hanging upside-down for a brief moment.

The ride's figure-eight layout created a fast-paced journey with multiple hills, dives and twists.

The entire ride will last approximately 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

On July 5, fans got a 19-second preview. With only the words 'They're Rollin' In Like Thunder' on the screen, the Mean Streak's track was seen at various angles with Western music playing in the short clip.

Cedar Point promoted the video with the hashtag #TheyreComing, a hashtag they began using in April to promote other teasers of the coaster.

The ride is scheduled to debut in 2018.
