CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Metroparks announced a trick-or-treat festival that will take over the zoo’s Australian Adventure exhibit in October.
The family-friendly Halloween event will happen at the zoo on weekends from 11:30 a.m to 3:30 p.m. beginning Oct. 9 through Oct. 31.
This year’s event includes live performances in the zoo’s amphitheater, access to trick-or-treat way that features more than a dozen candy stations throughout the Halloween-themed Australian Adventure and meet-and-greets with costume characters.
To allow for proper social distancing, attendance will be limited. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance.
Guests will be required to wear face masks during their visit.
The zoo said the traditional after-hours Halloween event Boo at the Zoo will not happen this year due to the operational impacts of COVID-19.
General admission for Trick-or-Treat Fest which includes zoo general admission is $16 for non-members and $8 for members. Children under 2 can enter for free.
Tickets can be purchased here.
