CLEVELAND — Tequila Fest returns to Cleveland for the eighth year, this time with a new date. It's no longer on Cinco de Mayo. This year's fest takes place on Saturday, June 15.

The event, which bills itself as the "biggest and best tequila and taco event in Cleveland," kicks off at the tequila-friendly hour of 4 PM and runs until 11 PM on the boardwalk on the East Bank of The Flats. Tequila sampling is from 5-9. Over 50 tequilas are available, along with music, the Barrio taco truck, margaritas and other drinks.

The event, which started in Cleveland, has expanded to other cities including Columbus, Cincinnati and Phoenix, with Denver possibly to come.

"It's continuing to grow and grow," said Adam Bossin, CEO of Taste CLE, one of the organizers of the event, along with Lago.
