News 5's Frank Wiley will moderate Presidents' Council African-American Entrepreneurship Conference

WARRENSVILLE HEIGHTS — The Presidents' Council hosts its second biannual Regional African-American Entrepreneurship Conference on Thursday, September 12 at Tri-C Corporate College East in Warrensville Heights.

The conference features topics ranging from access to financial and human capital, physical, social, emotional and mental health, how state local and national politics impacts African-American businesses, social media and networking and the justice system.

Speakers include President and CEO of Anderson-DuBose Company Warren Anderson, Co-Founder of Glory Foods Dr. Iris Cooper, Founder and Managing Partner at Backstage Capital, Arlan Hamilton, Principal Consultant at The Eastledge Group, LLC. Robin Shabazz, Esq., and Minority Leader, Ohio State Representative Emilia Strong Sykes.

News 5 Anchor Frank Wiley will moderate the keynote panel during the lunch hour.

The core mission of The President’s Council is to establish a viable membership organization that supports African-American businesses and advances African-American entrepreneurship while also making investments and advocating politically; provide leadership, innovate ideas, and resources to advance African American owned and operated businesses thus contributing to the overall growth and economic development in Northeast Ohio.
