Tickets for "Avengers: Endgame" went on sale Tuesday morning, and it appears fans were so eager to get their hands on them, they crashed movie theater websites across the country.

Fans took to social media complaining of movie theater sites not loading, long wait times and other technical issues when they tried to buy tickets for the next highly anticipated "Avengers" film. The main AMC Theatres website wasn't loading at 8:45 a.m. People also reported problems with Fandango and Atom Tickets.

"It was only AMC Burbank 16 having issues, now it's absolutely EVERY AMC theater... your website is not even loading anymore. You need a bigger server," one Twitter user said.

And another person said, "The movie websites are crashing & people are waiting hours in a online 'line' to purchase tickets! We are LUCKY!"

Atom Tickets shared a tweet boasting of their customer support after one ticket buyer said they used the site after Fandango didn't work. But they were quickly barraged with dozens of comments from users saying their technical issues persisted.

Neither Fandango nor AMC Theatres have shared any information on when websites may be operating fully again.

"Avengers: Endgame" hits theaters April 26. You can watch a trailer for the Marvel movie below.
