CLEVELAND — Get ready pickle people, the second annual Cleveland Pickle Fest returns this summer.

The festival will be held Saturday, Aug. 22 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Mall C across from the convention center in downtown Cleveland.

It is free to get in. There will be live music, a children’s area, and plenty of vendors offering a wide range of pickle products.

The festival is a benefit for Greater Cleveland Volunteers.

“We work with more than 100 nonprofits and over 2,000 volunteers and it’s just so important for Cleveland to know that there are volunteer opportunities in the community,” said Melissa Elick, organizer for the event and employee of Greater Cleveland Volunteers.

Last year, more than 16,000 people attended the pickle fest.

Organizers say they’re still looking for volunteers, vendors and sponsors. Contact Greater Cleveland Volunteers if you’re interested.
