CLEVELAND — The record-breaking, award-winning musical “The Book of Mormon” is returning to Cleveland for a limited engagement this September.
Following a record-breaking three-week run in 2013 in Cleveland, the show will play September 6 to 15, 2019 at Playhouse Square, according to a news release from the organization.
Single tickets to the limited engagement will go on sale on May 20 at 11 a.m. at the ticket office, located at 1519 Euclid Ave. in Downtown Cleveland, on playhousesquare.org, or by calling 216-241-6000. Group orders of 15 or more tickets can be placed at 216-640-8600.
There will be 13 performances at Playhouse Square’s Connor Palace, beginning Friday, Sept. 6 at 7:30 p.m. For more information on show dates and times, visit playhousesquare.org.
“The Book of Mormon” features book, music and lyrics by Trey Parker, Robert Lopez and Matt Stone, the release states. It is the winner of nine Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Book, Best Direction, Best Featured Actress, Best Scenic Design, Best Lighting Design, Best Sound Design and Best Orchestration.
