A firefighter was injured while working a fire at a laundromat in Cleveland on Monday morning, according to officials.
The fire broke out in an occupied building at Miles Avenue and East 116th Street, authorities told a News 5 crew at the scene. A firefighter was injured with lacerations to the back of his neck, and he was transported to a nearby hospital. No one else was injured.
A HAZMAT team has been called out as a precaution because chemicals were in use at the laundromat, authorities said.
