CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Clinic has made Newsweek’s "2020 World’s Best Hospitals" list for the second year in a row.
The Cleveland Clinic ranked No. 2 after the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.
Newsweek partnered with global data research company Statista Inc. to rank leading hospitals in 21 countries and one city-state, including United States, Canada, Germany, France, United Kingdom, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, Israel, South Korea, Japan, Singapore, India, Thailand, Australia and Brazil.
The rankings were based on recommendations from medical professionals, patient surveys and key medical performance indicators.
This isn't the first time the Cleveland Clinic has made a "Best Hospitals" list. In 2019, the clinic ranked as the No. 1 heart care hospital in the country.
