CLEVELAND — Team members from JACK Cleveland Casino and JACK Thistledown Racino delivered hundreds of turkeys to food pantries across Northeast Ohio to be distributed to families in need for Thanksgiving.
On Friday, Nov. 15, 25 JACK team members, ranging from security officers to dealers and HR representatives, spent the day delivering 520 turkeys to 13 partner agencies of the Greater Cleveland Food Bank.
JACK Entertainment worked with their vendor, US Foods, to order over 6,300 pounds of turkey.
The pantries that the turkeys were delivered to, included: Lee Seville Miles Hunger Center, Our Savior Lutheran Church, St. John Vianney, Eastlake Kiwanis, Vineyard Community Church, Euclid Hunger Task Force, Salvation Army- Temple Corps, Beulah Baptist Church of Collinwood, St. Vincent de Paul, St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, Cooley Avenue Church of God, North Olmsted Food Pantry and People’s Community Church.
