CLEVELAND — Businesses across Northeast Ohio are showing their appreciation to veterans and active members of the U.S. military with deals and freebies on Veterans Day Monday, Nov. 11.
Meal Deals
Texas Roadhouse: Texas Roadhouse locations in Northeast Ohio are offering free lunches to all active, retired or former U.S. military members, who can choose one of the 10 entrees from a special veteran’s day menu, including a 6-ounce sirloin and two sides.
Veterans and military members will need to show proof of service including military or VA cards or discharge papers.

Beerhead Bar & Eatery: Veterans and active duty military members will receive a free entrée, dine-in only. Locations in The Flats East Bank, Concord Township and Avon will offer the deal.
Bob Evans: Veterans and active duty military members can enjoy free breakfast, lunch and dinner options, including all eight of Bob Evans' new Dinner Bell Plats. Members will have the choice to select from breakfast (available all day), lunch and dinner. The offer is dine-in only and military members will need to show proof of military service.

Panera Bread: Beginning at 11 a.m. on Monday, veterans and active duty can receive a complimentary You Pick Two, which includes a combination of any two half portions soup, salad, sandwiches, flatbreads, or mac and cheese.
Quaker Steak & Lube: Any veteran or active duty military member will receive a free or discounted meal.
Smokey Bones: All military members will receive a free dessert on Monday.
JACK Casino: Veterans can stop in to JACK Casino in Cleveland any time Monday for one free buffet per veteran.
Entertainment and lifestyle
The Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad: Veterans can get a complimentary train ride on Nov. 11.
Veterans, active military and first responders and up to three family members are invited to take a two-hour complimentary train ride through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. More info here.
Goodyear: In honor of Veterans Day on Nov. 11, Goodyear is offering active and retired military members free car checks and tire installations.
Effective from Nov. 8-16, the free car checks include checks on tires, brakes, alignments, battery and wiper blades. More info here.
The Greater Cleveland Aquarium: Veterans and active duty members will receive free admission into the aquarium on Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Veterans and their family are invited to enjoy regularly scheduled experiences throughout the day including animal encounters and the chance to see archerfish in action.
Veterans must present a valid ID at the ticket counter. The aquarium’s everyday military discount will apply to immediate family members.
Ancestry: In honor of Veterans Day, Ancestry is opening its archive of U.S. military records, offering free access from Nov. 8 through Nov. 17. Ancestry has more than 260 million US military records including draft cards, soldier pension indexes, enlistment records and more. To search records click here. Note. Great Clips: Veteran will receive a free haircut on Nov. 11 or a free haircut to use at a later day. Non-military customers who purchase a service at a local salon can get a free haircut card to give to a veteran you know. More info here.
AMC Movie Theaters: Military members can enjoy a free large popcorn wit their movie at any AMC Theater, starting on Friday, Nov. 8. The offer is available to active duty members and veterans, who purchase a military priced ticket using their AMC Stubs membership. More info here.
