CLEVELAND — The Cleveland APL Pet of the Weekend is Lela — a 7-year-old dog who loves long walks and car rides.
“She has gone on many adventures in the MetroParks and other trails and is a perfect companion in the car and on hikes. She has a favorite toy donut that she carries it around with her everywhere she goes. Who doesn’t love donuts?,” the APL said. “Lela takes her donut on walks, to bath time, and she will pick it up and show it off to anyone that walks past her kennel. It’s the best way to start your morning!”
Lela is used to a leash, appears to be house broken knows how to sit for treats.
“Unlike many of the high energy dogs that often come through our care, Lela is active without being demanding of your time and attention. She loves her walks, but she also loves lounging on the couch by the fire.”
