CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio — On Sunday, Safer Heights, a collective made up of Cleveland Heights community members led by Black residents, organized a march and car protest that started at Coventry Peace Park.

Members of the community marched from Coventry Peace Park and participated in a car protest, and community members from Cleveland Heights and University Heights who have been affected by police violence and racial injustice gave speeches.
Fliers were handed out that listed demands from the community, including reinvesting some police funds into educational and social service programs, as well as making changes to police policy regarding body cameras.
