The Cleveland Clinic ranked number two on U.S. News & World Report Best Hospitals List for the second year in a row.
In its 28th year, more than 4,500 medical centers in 25 specialties were compared based on objective measures such readmission rate, volume, patient survival and patient safety, among others.
The Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota ranked number one with John Hopkins coming in third on the best hospitals list.
Cleveland Clinic also ranked number one in cardiology and heart surgery.

The clinic also made it on the number three spot for orthopedics.
This year, 152 hospitals were nationally ranked in at least one specialty.
