COLUMBUS, Ohio — The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has unveiled a bobblehead of Dr. Amy Acton, who has been instrumental in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic.
This is the first bobblehead of the Buckeye State’s top public health official.
In response to the coronavirus pandemic, CNN referred to Acton as “the Buckeye State’s version of the straight-talking Dr. Anthony Fauci.”
For every bobblehead sold, the museum will donate $5 to the American Hospital Association’s Protect the Heroes fund in support of the 100-million mask challenge.
A bobblehead is $25, with an expected shipment date of July 2020.
Last week, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum announced a bobblehead in honor of Gov. Mike DeWine.
