CLEVELAND — Cleveland Mayor Frank Jackson is holding a briefing to provide updates on the COVID-19 pandemic from the Cleveland Department of Public Health on Thursday afternoon.

Jackson will be joined by Chief of Prevention, Intervention and Opportunity for Youth and Young Adults Tracy Martin-Thompson, Director of Public Health Brian Kimball and Director of Human Resources Nycole West.

On Wednesday evening, the City of Cleveland announced that the CDPH had been notified of 46 new confirmed COVID-19 cases, bringing the total to 6,269 confirmed cases to date. There have been a total of 148 coronavirus-related deaths in residents of Cleveland as of Wednesday.
