MENTOR, Ohio — A Mentor elementary school principal and staff member have tested positive for COVID-19.
The Lake County General Health District is conducting contact tracing for anyone who was in close contact with the Hopkins Elementary School principal or teacher.
The Health District is asking everyone to continue to self-monitor for symptoms, wear a mask, and practice social distancing.
Hopkins Elementary School will have remote learning on Tuesday out of an abundance of caution.
Two other staff members have reported symptoms and are waiting for their test results.
