MENTOR, Ohio — Hobby Lobby has decided to close their Ohio stores after Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost sent them a cease and desist letter.
Hobby Lobby originally closed on March 21 when the stay-at-home order was put in place.
They reopened on Wednesday after claiming to be an essential business.
Yost sent them a letter Wednesday night and the retail chain decided to close all Ohio stores beginning on Thursday.
I received a phone call within the hour from the general counsel of Hobby Lobby, informing us they were closing their stores tonight in Ohio in compliance with our cease-and-desist letter. https://t.co/PLf9iIA8pH
