CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio — Another restaurant is closing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Retro Dog in Cuyahoga Falls has closed its doors for good.

The restaurant, which was known for its char-grilled hot dogs, hamburgers, hand-cut fries, onion rings, house-made root beer and frozen custard closed on Sunday. They announced their closure on their Facebook page.

"We would like to thank our local customers, business partners, and the greater Akron community who have demonstrated their support in so many ways throughout the years. Many wonderful relationships have been created and we will always be grateful," Retro Dog wrote on its Facebook page. "Most importantly we would like to thank the extraordinary staff their dedication and hard work during our tenure has been nothing short of astounding. The staff has always been our motivation during these challenging of times."

Retro Dog was open for eight years.
