CLEVELAND — As many of us spend more time at home, Gov. Mike DeWine wants every Ohioan to take part in some fun with a virtual spirit week.

For each day of the week, Gov. DeWine has a theme for Ohioans to show off their spirit, and in some cases, support for their local community first responders and healthcare workers.

Kicking off the week-long festivities, Gov. DeWine named Monday as Pajama Day, perfect for all those staying at home all day long.

Pajama Day gives us all the permission to stay in our pajamas throughout the day, even on every Zoom call you have scheduled.

The virtual spirit week schedule:

Monday—Pajama Day: Stay in your pajama all day – even during meetings.
Tuesday— Garden Day: Plant your gardens.
Wednesday—Salute Your Hero: Doctors, nurses, truck drivers, firefighters, teachers. Dress up like your hero, draw a picture or share an appreciation video.
Thursday—Spirit Day: Show your love for your favorite school or sports team.
Friday—Pizza Day: Order pizza or make your own.

Ohioans are encouraged to tag their pictures on social media with #SpiritWeekOhio, #InThisTogetherOhio and/or #StayHomeOhio.
