Summerville police officers in South Carolina giving motorists toilet paper instead of tickets

SUMMERVILLE, S.C. — A police department in South Carolina is surprising motorists that are pulled over by giving them a roll of toilet paper in lieu of a ticket.

The Summerville Police Department posted a video of one of its officers handing over the toilet paper to some very stunned but thankful drivers.

“We’re out here for our citizens,” the department wrote on Facebook. “Thought this could lighten the mood.”
