AKRON, Ohio — Summit County Public Health will continue to offer its drive-thru COVID-19 vaccination clinics each Wednesday in June, offering both the Moderna and Pfizer vaccine.
Every Wednesday from 9 to 11 a.m., SCPH will offer the Moderna vaccine and from 1 to 3 p.m. it will offer the Pfizer vaccine.
The drive-thru clinic is held at 1867 West Market St. in Akron and appointments are not required.
SCPH said that while COVID-19 health orders across the state have been lifted as of Wednesday, residents who are unvaccinated are still urged to practice safe and healthy behaviors to prevent the spread of COVID-19, including staying home when sick, limiting close interactions with others, wearing a mask in public, washing hands frequently and using sanitizer.
Residents with questions regarding the COVID-19 drive-thru clinic can call 330-926-5797 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
