CLEVELAND — A Cleveland man who survived the coronavirus now has to raise two children on his own after his wife died from the virus.

Ramath Mizpeh Warith Senior is an RTA driver and said he started feeling sick in early May.

Both he and his then-pregnant wife Sierra were showing symptoms and tested positive for COVID-19.

He said she developed pneumonia and had to be hospitalized. He said doctors decided to do an emergency c-section, but she died before she could meet the baby.

"She wanted to be a mom that always provided for her children her family was one of his biggest accomplishments, that's what she always wanted in her life, was to have a family and to continue to be a wife," he said.

Their baby boy tested negative for the virus and is doing well, according to his father.
