Think of the biggest dream you’ve ever had. Maybe it was to ride in a helicopter or talk on the phone with your favorite celebrity crush.

Whatever the dream, big or small, in the hands of the Dream Team at Menorah Park in Beachwood, they do their best to fulfill it.

“We’ve always got our listening ears on to see if someone has a dream,” said Sherry Gavanditti, one of the members of the Dream Team.

The D.R.E.A.M team is actually an acronym that stands for, dare to reach for every amazing moment, and that’s what they try to give their senior citizens living in their facility as they age.

“It really gives them a new hope, and it helps me, it makes me happy to see them happy,” Gavanditt said.

Seniors like Jane Friedman.

“I think it's terribly important, and I think the Dream Team is apart of positive thinking and a part of positive doing," said Friedman, right before she performed her self-written song and stand-up comedy bit.

We were able to help her dream come true, as she always wanted to perform her work for a television audience. Click below to see her performance.

And she’s just one of hundreds who have gotten to live out their most fulfilling dream since 2004 when the group started.

The whole idea is to enhance the quality of life for them, giving them hope in their older age.

The team relies heavily on donations and contributions from people in the community to help the senior’s wishes come true.
