CLEVELAND — This week's Trip Up Trent segment went to William Rainey Harper Elementary in Cleveland.
Dominic, a 2nd-grader, wanted to know where meteors come from.
Trent explained that meteors come from everywhere in our solar system such as asteroids, comets, planets, moons. If you break the word down into its Latin roots, meteor means high in the sky. Meteorology is the study of things in the sky. Hydrometeors are raindrops, snowflakes, hailstones, graupel... you name it!
