A man is dead after a crash that shut down I-71 Wednesday morning, according to Cleveland EMS.
EMS responded to the scene of the crash and pronounced the 27-year-old man dead. The man was later identified as Nicholas Sandman of Bay Village, according to the Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner.
I-71 was closed following the crash and has since been reopened.
