The Akron Fire Department is investigating an apartment fire that left one person dead and another person injured.
The fire happened Wednesday morning on Second Avenue.
According to firefighters, one person was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Another person died as a result of the fire, officials said.
According to firefighters, 30 people were displaced.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
