Congressman Tim Ryan and state representatives Tavia Galonski and Emilia Sykes spoke at the rally.

On Wednesday, Trump wrote a tweet calling on the public not to buy tires after an image circulated of a policy asking employees not to wear any political attire, including MAGA gear, to the workplace.

Goodyear released a statement addressing the misconceptions about its policies and company. The company said the widely circulated image was not part of any diversity training class.

On Thursday, the company tweeted a statement from the president and CEO to further clarify the origin of the image and the company's stance on political speech and support of law enforcement.

Goodyear does not endorse any political organization and has a policy that asks associates to refrain from expressions of support of any candidate or party in the workplace, CEO Rich Kramer stated.

Goodyear supports law enforcement and has supplied tires to police and fire personnel for more than 100 years, the statement continues.

“We have clarified our policy to make it clear associates can express support for law enforcement through apparel at Goodyear facilities,” Kramer said.
