AKRON, Ohio — A 14-year-old boy was shot multiple times and left in a front yard in Akron Sunday evening, according to the Akron Police Department.
Around 6:09 p.m., officers responded to the 1000 block of Wyley Avenue for a reported shooting where they found the 14-year-old boy in the front yard of a home with multiple gunshot wounds, police said.
The boy had been shot by an unknown male who fled the scene before officers arrived, according to police. He was transported to Akron Children’s Hospital. His condition is unknown at this time.
