AKRON, Ohio — Akron police are investigating after a 15-year-old girl and a 27-year-old man were shot in Kenmore Friday afternoon.
Around 3 p.m., officers were called to the 2000 block of 13th Street for a report of a shooting.
A 15-year-old girl was found on scene with a gunshot wound and was transported to Akron Children’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.
A 27-year-old man was also found at the scene with a gunshot wound and was transported to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, according to police.
Police arrested a 21-year-old from Akron for two counts of felonious assault and domestic violence in connection with the shooting, authorities said.
