A 21-year-old man was shot twice Thursday night while walking home from a store in Akron, according to detectives.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Brighton Drive.
Police said the victim told them he was walking home when he was approached by an unknown person who then fired several shots at him. The victim was taken to Cleveland Clinic Akron General Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
A description of the shooter wasn't provided.
